For dessert, you can enjoy two of the most important ingredients of any good love story:

Good lord that boy meets girl scene was awkward, right?? Do you think Woody Allen made movies so that he could kiss women waaaaay far out of his league? I do!

ReplyDelete-MR. Right:
Why is it just Mr.Right and not Ms.Right?
-Fall in love:
Why is it 'to fall'?
'Cause literaly it would be to fall over your lover!
-Make up:
Is it to draw your face? or to forgive each other after the end of a relationship? Is it because you make up your Boyfriend and then everything is right! :S
-Pop the question:
Pop??! To ask someone to marry you!!? What's that? Are they in a disco dancing to Lady Gaga's song and then he asks you to marry him?
What a weird expresion!

Hello! Happy Saint Valentine´s Day :D
ReplyDeleteElena and Inma here!
We have to tell you that some expressions were similar to Spanish ones. For example:
- Break heart / Love at the first sight / Crazy about someone / Fall in love / First love
But there are some others that we find very interesting. For example:
-Blind date / dit /Fall for / Kiss and make up / Leave someone at the altar.
And there are other others that are good-fun. These are:
-Find Mr. RIGHT
-Puppy love
Goodbye
Hey!! Andra and Virginia here!!
ReplyDeleteWe have read this post and some love and relationship expresions...
They are amazing and beautiful but, others like "to make up" are strange...
But, we think that the expresion "Those three litte words" (I LOVE YOU) are the most romantic words we have seen...(in the page)
We hope you´ll have a great SAINT VALENTINE´S DAY and you´ll enjoy it!!
Best widhes from andra and virginia=D

ReplyDeleteHappy Saint Valentine´s day!!
We think one of the most beatiful expressions it´s "find Mr. Right". How many times have we thought that we have found the perfect person?? Many times, but this person is not always perfect at all. We also think that perfect people only appeared in dreams, but when you feel "crazy about someone" you feel that you have found your Mr. Right or the girl of your dreams.
Other expression that are used a lot it´s "to break up", it´s also the saddest of them, it´s the moment in wich love finishes.
Hello, Happy Saint Valentine´s day !!!!!
ReplyDeleteToday is a day for all the people who are in love. There are expressions about love, the couples who use them are in love,....

- To break up

Hi!! Miriam 'nd Carmen here!!!
ReplyDeleteThe expressions that are more interesting for us have been:"Find Mr. Right" althought we think the Right person is the person you love, "go dutch", "have a crush" there are so many teenagers who have a crush (and in two weeks they forget it) but only a few "head over heels in love with someone". Is it really difficult to continue loving that special person?. We don't think so.
For us the saddest expression is "dump someone" when love finishes...
We didn't know about them, but from now on we're going to use them. OUR BEST WISHES FOR ALL OF YOU IN THIS SPECIAL DAY!!
Hi! Maria Cañadas and Nuria Megia here.
ReplyDeleteOur favourite expression is "walk the aisle together", because it is so romantic, and a beatutiful action, and the way they go together is something very special.
These are the meanings of the expressions:
-"Walk the aisle together"
To get married (in this case in a church).
-"to dump someone".
To end a relationship by telling someone that you do not want to see him or her.
-"To find Mr. Rigth".
To find the rigth or perfect person.
-"to have a crush for someone!.
To have strong feelings of love for someone (often for a short time and with no results).
-"to be on the rocks".
To be in a state of difficulty, to be having problems (usually used for a relationship).
Our experiences:
We have fallen in love a few times, but we know how you feel when you find Mr Right. When you are with him, you feel like flying, like in a parallel world, you can only smile, and there are no bad times with him.
Good Luck Julia.
Best wishes.
Hi, Gian Carlos and Iván here. First of all happy (and late) San Valentin's day. We've seen all the expressions and we think that these expressions are interesting for us:
ReplyDelete-"Puppy love": infatuation (strong feelings of love) between school-age children or teenagers.
We thought this was interesting because it usually happens in the school.
-"Those three little words": the words "I love you".
Like it says, there are just three words that means something very important in a relationship.
-"Steal (someone's) heart": to cause someone to fall in love with you.
finally we thought this was very romantic and it means the same in spanish.
Happy San Valentin's Day and good luck for all the people in love.
Mr. Fernández here: Give(someone or something) a second chance - to try to save a relationship by forgiving and welcoming the other person back, to give a person or a relationship a second chance. I have seen my girlfriend with Mario Casas tonight. However, they had met because they were chilhood friends, so I gave my girlfriend a second chance. Kiss and makeup. - to become friends again after a fight or argument. If I figth with my girlfriend,I don´t think that we wil Kiss and make up because if this if this were Pulp fiction, I would have phoned my two hired assasins (Jules and Vincent)to finish the work. Leave (someone) at the altar. - to decide not to marry someone at the last minute. The day before the wedding I had a party with all the friends, so the next day I had a hangover and I decided to relax that day I leave my girl at the altar and now I’m trying to kiss and make up. A match made in heaven. - a couple who get along perfectly. Oh!! You´re my the most beautifull thing I have ever seen.We are a match made in heaven: I would like to stay with you and see what you can offer (to) me. I love You , "computer"
